Circular route within our estate
The Dehesa del Horcajo Trail starts right from the hotel, a circular route that allows you to discover the natural landscape surrounding the estate.
The trail crosses a meadow of cork oaks, gall oaks, holm oaks, and wild olive trees, alternating areas of Mediterranean forest with open spaces where it is common to observe local wildlife.
During the route, it is possible to see Payoya goats, Merino sheep, or Iberian pigs, in addition to enjoying natural viewpoints with views of the SerranĂa.

Electric bicycle
Very close to the hotel, in the town of Montecorto, is E-Bike Montaur, a company specializing in electric bike routes.
Their tours allow you to discover the SerranĂa de Ronda and the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in a comfortable and accessible way, traveling through rural paths, natural viewpoints, and spectacular landscapes.
The electric bikes make the route easier even in mountainous areas, allowing you to enjoy the surroundings without the need for extensive physical preparation.

The SerranĂa de Ronda and the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park are among the most interesting environments in Andalusia for birdwatching. In the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, approximately more than 200 bird species have been recorded throughout the year.
The diversity of landscapes—mountain ranges, Mediterranean forests, dehesas (pasturelands), and rocky cliffs—creates ideal habitats for numerous species.
In the area, it is common to observe griffon vultures, eagles, and other birds of prey, in addition to species typical of the Mediterranean forest.
Acinipo
Roman city
A few kilometers from the hotel is Acinipo, one of the most important Roman archaeological sites in Andalusia.
Situated on a limestone plateau at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters, this ancient city overlooks a spectacular landscape between the SerranĂa de Ronda and the Sierra de Grazalema.
The most prominent feature of the site is its Roman theater, built approximately in the mid-1st century B.C. and considered one of the oldest in Roman Hispania.

The Cueva del Hundidero, located near Montejaque and BenaojĂ¡n, is one of the most impressive natural formations in the SerranĂa de Ronda.
Its enormous entrance, over 50 meters high, marks the beginning of the Hundidero–Gato underground system, one of the most important karst complexes in Andalusia.
The surroundings also offer hiking trails and natural viewpoints with views of the Guadiaro river valley.

The Cueva de la Pileta is one of the most important prehistoric sites in southern Europe.
